It is a Medical Education Program Sub-specialized in Clinical Pathology, consists of 4 semesters of study periods and 78 study load credits. This program is consist of five sub-specialized program including Haematology, Microbiology and Infectious Disease, Immunology, Endocrine and Metabolic Disease, Gastroenterohepatology, Nephrology and Respiration.
Clinical Pathology subspecialty program uses cutting-edge technology including Immunophenotyping, NGS (Next Generation Sequencing), GSP (Genetic Screening Processor), PCR (Polymerized Chain Reaction), Flowcytometry, Digital Imaging, HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography), Teaching Microscope, Robust Chemistry Analyzer. Furthermore, the teachers are experts in their particular sub-specialties.

Graduates of the Clinical Pathology Sub-specialized at UNAIR Surabaya’s Faculty of Medicine are anticipated to have a career as a professional clinical laboratory consultant, a good teacher, a creative researcher, and an entrepreneur.

The overall goal of the Clinical Pathology Sub-specialized educational program is to produce Clinical Pathology Sub-specialized Doctors who meet the competency standards of Clinical Pathology Sub-specialized doctors in the specific field and are capable of improving education, research, and Laboratory Medicine service in Indonesia.
