The training program in urology leads to the professional certificate of Medical Specialist in Urology. The program consists of 10 semesters of study. This program is organized under the Department of Urology, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga with training in the main academic hospital of Dr Soetomo General Hospital as well as other network hospitals including the Universitas Airlangga Hospital. This study program offers complete training in all aspects of urology, with a particular characteristic being comprehensive treatment of urinary stone disease and urological cancers.
To become a program of speciality medicine study in urology with characteristics of dignity, competitiveness, excellence, independent, innovative and reputable at both national and international level, pioneering development of scientific knowledge and medical technology with particular focus on comprehensive urolithiasis and oncological management, medicosocioentrepreneurship and humanities based on religious morals in the year 2026.
1.) To provide academic and professional education based on global competences graduating professionals with entrepreneurial spirit and moral and ethical values.
2.) To improve the quantity and quality of innovative research in urology, comprising of basic, applied and policy aspects, with national and international acknowledgement to support education and community service.
3.) To apply expertise in urological science, technology, humanities and arts in the community with a national and global health outlook.
4.) To carry out good governance in the program with orientation on qualty and competitiveness both at national and international level.
