It is a Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine Specialist Education Program, with a study period of 9 semesters and a study load of 154 credits. This educational program is under the of the Department of Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University, located at Dr.Soetomo Hospital. This study program was established in 1987. We carry out various education, research, and community service programs as a form of the Tridharma of Higher Education as a sacred mandate to maintain the quality of graduates who will serve themselves in society.
The vision of the Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine Specialist Study Program FK UNAIR is to become an independent, innovative, leading Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine Specialist Study Program at national and international levels, a pioneer in the development of medical science and technology, entrepreneurship and humanities-based on religious morality in 2025.
1.) Organizing education that produces graduates of Lung and Respiratory specialist doctors who are competent in the fields of education, research, and community service to address lung health problems, whether promotive, preventive, curative, rehabilitative with an entrepreneurial spirit and humanities who uphold the Code of Medical Ethics
2.) Carry out innovative basic and applied research in the field of Pulmonary and Respiratory sciences that are oriented to the needs of the community according to developments in medical science and technology and are able to compete at the national and international levels.
3.) Organizing community service with the aim that the community is able to solve problems independently and sustainably.
4.) Organize transparent and accountable education governance.
