It is a Medical Specialist Education Program for Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal Studies, with a study period of 7 semesters and a study load of 82 credits. This program is under the auspices of the Department of Forensic Medicine Sciences and Medicolegal, located at Faculty of Medicine Universitas Airlangga and Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital Surabaya. This Program is one of seven Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal Specialist education centers in Indonesia, with Sero-biomolecular field as our main expertise. Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal Studies Program offers an extensive knowledge including the 4 pillars of Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal fields, which are Pathology Forensics, Clinical Forensics, Ethics-Medicolegal and Sero-biomolecular.
Our vision is to become Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal Studies Program which are independent, innovative, internationally renowned, pioneers in the development of science and technology, entrepreneurship and humanities based on religious morals, in the field of Forensic Medicine, especially Sero-Biomolecular Forensics
1.) Organize and develop Forensic and Medicolegal Studies Program based on national values and religious morals.
2.) Promote innovative basic and applied research also policy research in the field of Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal, on the basis of national values and religious morals to support the development of education and community service.
3.) Dedicating expertise in the fields of Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal as well as medical technology with an entrepreneurial spirit and humanities for public health.
4.) Perform good administrative governance in management of Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal Program through institutional development that is quality oriented and suitable for competition at the international level.
