It is a Medical Education Program Specialized in Andrology, consists of 7 semesters of study periods and 69 study load credits. This program is under the auspices of the Medical Biology Department, located at Campus A, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga. This study program is the first and only Andrology specialist education centre in Indonesia. Andrology study program offers an extensive knowledge including the 5 pillars of Andrology, which are male infertility, sexual dysfunction, hypogonadism, male contraception and anti-aging medicine.
To make Andrology Study Program superior and reputable nationally and internationally, independent, innovative, a pioneer of education, research and development of medical technology science, especially in Assisted Reproductive Technology and Sexology, entrepreneurship and humanities, based on religious morals.
1.) Organizing and developing the Andrology Study Program to be a world-class excellence based on national values and religious morals.
2.) Carrying out basic and applied research in Andrology, as well as innovative health policy research with world-class excellence based on national values and religious morals.
3.) Devoting expertise in Andrology and Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) for nation’s health.
4.) Developing educational, research and service networks within Andrology in the form of “Academic Health System” through the FKUA-RSUD Dr Soetomo-Unair Hospital and other network hospitals.
5.) Carrying out good governance of study programs through quality-oriented institutional development and has the ability to compete internationally.
