Faculty of Medicine Universitas Airlangga (FK UNAIR) is the 2nd oldest Faculty of Medicine in Indonesia. Currently, FK UNAIR is 108 years old since it was founded as Nederlandsch-Indische Artsen School (NIAS) in 1913. FK UNAIR has started a long journey to transform knowledge in medical science and devote knowledge to improve the welfare of the nation, society, and humanity.
Faculty of Medicine Universitas Airlangga (FK UNAIR) will continue to be developed based on strategic planning to support the achievement of “The PRIME Faculty of Medicine,” which is in line with UNAIR “SMART University” strategy, namely FK UNAIR with international standards and graduate alumni with an entrepreneurial spirit. The FK UNAIR Strategic Plan is prepared to cover the next five-year period from 2021 to 2025.
The Faculty of Medicine Universitas Airlangga adopted the 17 points of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): end poverty, hunger, and inequality; create a healthy and prosperous life; improve education; take action on climate change and the environment; bring about peace, justice and strong institutions; and build great partnerships.”
